Helbiz Brings its E-bikes to Orlando, Expanding its Micro-Mobility Program in Florida

we are happy to announce that Helbiz is expanding its micro-mobility services to Orlando, Florida. Available from July 2022, you can rent Helbiz e-bikes in just a few taps with the Helbiz app. As a welcome to our new riders, new Helbiz users in Orlando can enjoy two FREE rides to try out the new vehicles and embrace this new way of getting around.
Fleet Features
With safety and sustainability in mind, Helbiz invests in technology that can continue improving our micro-mobility programs. Therefore, in Orlando, we will launch our newest e-bike model, featuring the latest GPS technology. This allows us to identify no-ride zones and slows riders down in designated areas.
This is our most lightweight model, providing a fun, easy rider experience. Each e-bike presents a Shimano 3-speed hub for better energy efficiency and an enclosed front basket with a phone holder to protect small items.
Once they’ve arrived at their destination, riders can easily lock the Helbiz e-bike by inserting the cable lock pin into the front wheel compartment – no bike rack is necessary. The app will ask riders to verify their parking with a photo to ensure there is a minimum of 3 feet of unobstructed walkways and ramps.
Building community in Orlando
Helbiz family will also grow with a new team of local W-2 workers. They will ensure our fleet is well-maintained, fully charged, and damage-free. You can see them on the ground swapping out e-bike batteries powered by 100% clean energy and reallocating the in areas where riders need them.
