Helbiz Guide is the new blog series that takes you all around the best spots of our cities.

Every day residents and visitors are ditching cars and using micro-mobility to explore the sights of Washington D.C. Therefore, our team looked at the data from nearly 400,000 rides, since the launch of January 2021, and created the tier list of the most popular spots in the District.

Make sure to use Helbiz Guide on your next visit to the U.S. Capital!

5. Georgetown

Number five on Helbiz Guide, this historic neighborhood is a real hotspot for e-scooter riding. Check out M street, lined with shops, restaurants, and boutiques. Don’t forget to stop by some of the neighborhood’s famous bakeries, like Baked & Wired, for a sweet treat, or check out the large waterfront area.

4. Tidal Basin

No surprise here that most Helbiz e-scooter rides end at this location for riders looking for a picture-perfect moment. The reservoir mirrors the sky on a sunny day and provides views of the Capital’s monuments. Though the Tidal Basin is a year-round Insta-worthy spot, thousands of visitors flock to D.C. in the springtime (between March and April) to see the Cherry Blossom trees in full bloom.

3. 14th Street

This street north of Constitution Ave is buzzing with Michelin-Starred restaurants, art galleries, cafés, and cocktail bars.

2. Constitution Ave

This famous avenue, which runs along the northeast and northwest quadrants of D.C., has protected bike lanes and large green spaces for riders to safely tour national monuments and museums.

1. The National Mall

This is the number one starting point for e-scooter rides with its proximity to D.C.’s historic spots. Home to iconic monuments including the White House and the Lincoln Memorial, along with Smithsonian Museums (which are free to visit!).

Ride for the planet

These rides are important for another reason since by choosing to ride scooters instead of drive, Helbiz riders have saved over 2.5 million kg of CO2 on their short trips. With more than 160 miles of bike trails and a Gold star ranking by the League of American Bicyclists, the District provides safe roads for both pedestrians and riders.

This summer, beat the D.C. heat while touring these iconic spots and ride our newest scooter: the HB350S. Our latest model is equipped with sidewalk detection and AI-powered obstacle avoidance technology to increase everyone’s safety.
